UltraHD 2-Piece Pegboard Set with Hook Assortment Review: Maximize Your Garage Wall Storage

Organizing a garage or workshop can feel overwhelming, especially when tools, accessories, and supplies start piling up on every available surface. Wall storage is often the most efficient solution, and pegboards remain a classic choice for their flexibility and ease of use. The UltraHD 2-Piece Pegboard Set with Hook Assortment promises to deliver a sturdy, attractive, and customizable storage system that can handle everything from wrenches and screwdrivers to garden tools and power equipment. In this review, we’ll take a close look at its design, build quality, installation process, and real-world performance to help you decide if it’s the right fit for your space.

Seville Classics is known for producing high-quality home and garage storage solutions, and the UltraHD line has earned a reputation for durability and thoughtful engineering. The 2-Piece Pegboard Set is designed to work seamlessly with other UltraHD products, such as the UltraHD® 2-Door Rolling Cabinet and the UltraHD® 11-Drawer Rolling Workbench, allowing you to build a cohesive storage system. Let’s dive into the details and see how this pegboard set holds up under daily use.

Design and Build Quality

The UltraHD 2-Piece Pegboard Set features a sleek granite finish that resists stains, scratches, and rust, making it ideal for a garage environment where moisture and dirt are common. Each panel measures 28 inches wide by 38 inches high, giving you a total of over 14 square feet of organized storage when both pieces are mounted side by side. The pegboard is made from heavy-duty engineered wood with a smooth, durable coating that won’t chip or peel easily. Unlike traditional hardboard pegboards that can sag under heavy loads, this UltraHD board is reinforced to support a significant amount of weight when properly installed into wall studs.

The included hook assortment is generous, featuring a variety of single and double hooks, loop hooks, and straight hooks that can accommodate tools of different shapes and sizes. The hooks are made from thick, powder-coated steel that feels substantial and slides into the pegboard holes with a snug fit. They stay securely in place but can be repositioned easily without tools, allowing you to reconfigure your layout as your tool collection grows or changes. The overall aesthetic is modern and clean, blending well with other UltraHD cabinets and workbenches.

• Granite finish resists moisture, stains, and rust.
• Each panel: 28" W x 38" H (total 14+ sq ft).
• Reinforced engineered wood holds heavy tools.
• Includes 30+ hooks in 4 styles.

Installation Process

Installing the UltraHD 2-Piece Pegboard Set is straightforward, but it does require some basic tools and a bit of patience. The package includes mounting hardware such as screws and wall anchors, though for best results you should attach the panels directly into wooden wall studs. Each panel has pre-drilled keyhole slots on the back that allow you to hang it on screws driven into the wall. The keyhole design makes it easy to level the board and adjust its position slightly before tightening everything down.

A helpful tip is to use a level and a stud finder to mark your stud locations before drilling. The panels are heavy, so having a helper to hold them in place while you secure the top screws is recommended. Once mounted, the pegboard feels rock-solid with no wobble. The hooks click into place firmly and are easy to rearrange. The entire installation can be completed in under an hour, even for someone with limited DIY experience. For added versatility, you can mount the panels vertically or horizontally, though vertical is typical for most garage walls.

• Use a stud finder to locate studs for maximum support.
• Keyhole slots allow easy leveling and adjustment.
• Installation time: about 45–60 minutes.
• Can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Performance and Daily Use

After using the UltraHD 2-Piece Pegboard Set for several weeks, it’s clear that this is a well-thought-out storage solution. The surface is smooth and easy to clean—just wipe it down with a damp cloth to remove dust or grime. The hooks hold tools securely, and even heavier items like a hammer or a cordless drill stay in place without slipping. The variety of hooks means you can store everything from screwdrivers and pliers to extension cords and spray cans. One of the standout features is how the pegboard integrates with other UltraHD products. For example, placing it above the UltraHD® 2-Door Rolling Cabinet creates a dedicated workstation where tools are within arm’s reach.

The granite color is not only attractive but also practical, as it hides smudges and dirt better than lighter finishes. The pegboard’s thickness and rigidity prevent bowing, even when loaded with a mix of heavy and light tools. Over time, the hooks have shown no signs of bending or loosening. The only minor drawback is that the included hook assortment may not cover every possible tool type, but additional hooks can be purchased separately from Seville Classics. Overall, this pegboard set delivers on its promise of durable, flexible wall storage.

• Hooks hold heavy tools securely without slipping.
• Easy to clean and maintain.
• Pairs well with UltraHD cabinets and workbenches.
• Additional hooks available to expand storage.

The UltraHD 2-Piece Pegboard Set with Hook Assortment is an excellent investment for anyone looking to reclaim wall space in their garage or workshop. Its durable construction, attractive granite finish, and versatile hook system make it a standout choice among pegboard options. Whether you’re a weekend DIYer or a professional mechanic, this pegboard will help keep your tools organized and accessible. For a complete garage storage solution, consider pairing it with the UltraHD® 2-Door Rolling Cabinet to create a seamless and efficient workspace.
