I was honestly surprised by how much this trunk holds — the 28.25” inner width fits bulky throws and board games without a fight, and the lid closes flush. The MDF frame feels sturdy enough that I don't worry about sitting on it while tying my shoes.
The taupe finish looks way richer in person than in the photos, and the 30-inch width gives me just enough room to stash three thick blankets inside. Assembly took maybe ten minutes with the MDF frame feeling solid enough to double as a footrest.
I was worried the taupe would look dull in our living room, but the color is actually rich and warm. The 30-inch width is perfect for tucking under the window, and the lid stays firmly shut even when our cat decides to nap on top of it.
