The surface is perfectly smooth and the 0.25" holes make hook placement a breeze, even for a first-timer like me. Both panels feel rock-solid against the wall, and the 23-piece assortment covers everything I need for my drill bits and pliers.
Both boards arrived solid and straight, and the 0.25-inch holes line up perfectly with my existing hardware. The plier holders are a nice touch and actually grip my tools securely without wobbling, so the whole set went up in about twenty minutes.
The two curved double prongs are absolute lifesavers for hanging my heavier tools—solid steel means zero sag even after a month of daily use. Red paint's held up nicely too, no chips where the hooks slide in.
