The plated steel finish feels solid and the 1-inch poles fit snug as a glove. I swapped out an old shelf in about ten minutes and this one doesn't wobble at all, even loaded with heavy bins.
I was a little nervous about whether it would fit my existing poles, but the 1" diameter opening is spot-on and it slid right into place. The plated finish feels sturdy enough to hold my heavy bins without any flex. Exactly what I needed for a replacement shelf.
The holes lined up perfectly with the poles on my existing rack, so installation took under five minutes. This 36 by 24 inch shelf feels rock-solid under a full load of canned goods, and the plating hasn't shown a single scratch.
